Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro with notched display teased before official launch

Aside from the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4, we’re expecting the Chinese OEM to reveal the Redmi 6 Pro. This is another variant of the Redmi 6 which was made official earlier this month as another budget Android phone. Don’t be confused about all the Mi and Redmi phones but we’re certain this Redmi 6 Pro will be an official phone offering as per a recent teaser. The image here shows what is obviously a device with a wide notch that will remind you of the iPhone X, OnePlus 6, LG G7 ThinQ, and the ZTE Iceberg.

Xiaomi’s latest teaser is from the Redmi 6 Pro smartphone. Like the Mi Pad 4, this one is scheduled to be announced on the 25th of June. There will definitely be a notch but interestingly, it can be disabled or hidden. The option is similar to the Nokia X6 and the OnePlus 6.

Another set of images of the phone have surfaced online, showing the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 6 in all its sleek glory.

Not many details are available but we heard the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro phone will feature a 5.84-inch Full HD+ screen, 19:9 aspect ratio, 2GB or 3GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB onboard storage, 12MP + 5MP dual rear cameras, 5MP selfie camera, and an AI voice assistant known this early as “Little Love Classmate”. Like the Mi Pad 4, this phone may also arrive with face unlock.
