The $169 unlocked Honor 7X smartphone is a favorite budget option

Inexpensive but fully loaded.

The Honor 7X unlocked smartphone is down to $169 via Amazon. This device has been around for more than six months selling for $200. Today’s drop is a match for the lowest we’ve ever seen, a price it has only hit twice before. You can also find a similar deal at B&H where you’ll be able to snag it tax-free if you live outside of NY or NJ.

At this price, it’s hard to recommend anything else. It has a 5.93-inch display, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and a dual camera setup on the back. When we reviewed the device, we called it he "new budget champion" with four out of five stars.

Alternatively, the unlocked Honor View 10 smartphone is also on sale right now for $379 at Amazon, which is one of its best discounts yet. Prime Day saw it drop to $400, and it otherwise sells for $500.

Though it’s more than double the price of the Honor 7X, you’re getting a slightly larger screen, better cameras, and 128GB of internal storage, among other benefits. Check out our review of the device here which calls the View 10 "well-rounded, powerful, and affordable" at its regular price.
