Best Samsung fitness trackers — what are your current options?

While fitness trackers have existed for decades now, modern technology has significantly advanced their capabilities. As a direct result, we’ve seen a major rise in popularity with leading brands including Garmin, FitBit, and even Samsung. …

Like the majority of fitness trackers, it shows you how many steps you’ve taken, calories burned, and a bunch of other standard fitness data. It also has built-in GPS as well as a heart rate monitor and is resistant to water — 5 ATM.

The Gear Sport looks more like a smartwatch but also has many fitness tracking features on board. The device is equipped with a 1.2-inch circular Super AMOLED display and a rotating bezel that makes it easy to scroll through your apps. It’s a great option for running and swimming thanks to the built-in GPS and 5 ATM rating for water resistance.

It also comes with 4 GB of storage that’s good for around 500 songs (assuming you have nothing else loaded on your watch) and supports Samsung Pay — NFC payments only. Other things worth mentioning include a heart rate sensor, 768 MB of RAM, and a 300 mAh battery.
