The Huawei P smart launched last year on Vodafone with low monthly payments. The smartphone made an impression with the decent specs and affordable pricing. We can expect the new P Smart version will also be budget-friendly. Ever since we saw the leaked images and phone specs of the Huawei P Smart 2019, we’ve been anticipating for the new Android phone’s arrival in key markets around the world. The top Chinese OEM is starting the year right by announcing its first ever device offering for the year: the Huawei P Smart 2019.

The Huawei P Smart 2019 images we saw last November match the official photos from the company. Huawei just announced the device that looks a lot like other previous Huawei and Honor phones with AI dual cameras.

The dual rear camera system is located on the upper left side of the back panel. Below is an LED flash with the AI Camera branding. In the middle of the panel is a round fingerprint scanner.

Huawei P Smart 2019 boasts a larger screen but with a dewdrop notch similar to the Essential Phone. It’s powered by an octa-core Kirin 710 mobile processor and a 3400mAh battery.

Huawei takes pride in the P Smart 2019’s flagship display design, ergonomic 3D curved unibody, powerful AI dual camera, optimized performance, and enhance camera functionality. Simply put, the latest mobile technologies can be found in the Huawei P Smart 2019–really not bad for a company’s first product of the year. The phone launches first in the United Kingdom beginning January 10.
