We’ve seen dozens of new products already and we’re happy to know a lot of them has the Android community in mind. The Google Assistant is being added to numerous products such as the Anker Roav Bolt, Get Together Mini, JBL Link Bar, and the Lenovo Smart Clock and Smart Tab.
Google wants to improve on the connected and smart home business that is why it’s rolling out the Google Assistant Connect. It’s a new platform for device makers and brands that will allow them to use Google Assistant and eventually implement them on their products.

The Assistant will be enhanced in new ways this year. In the near future, it can act as a language interpreter. The Interpreter Mode is a special feature that can be taken advantage of on Smart Displays and Google Home products.
Simply saying, “Hey Google, be my X LANGUAGE interpreter” and the Assistant will interpret phrases for you in real-time whether written or spoken, depending on your preference. The Google Assistant Interpreter Mode will be demoed at the CES this week.
Google Maps for Android is also getting some love from the Google Assistant. Soon, you can send you ETA to colleagues, family, and friends with the help of the Assistant. Navigating Google Maps with the Google Assistant will be easier because you only need voice commands. Feel free to stream media content, reply to messages, and search for new places with the Google Assistant.
