Gboard to get morse code support, beta set for release today

Google has announced morse code support for the Gboard keyboard.

At its I/O developer conference the company announced a beta version of the update will be available later today.

Google worked with disabled developer Tania Finlayson to create the feature, as the developer uses morse code to communicate.

Morse code for Gboard allows users to customize it according to their specific needs, the company noted on its Experiments website. The update works in conjunction with Android’s accessibility features.

To get into the beta, visit the Gboard Play Store listing and choose “become a tester.” You’ll be eligible for beta access after a few minutes.

This is a developing story.
