Disney+, ESPN+ and Hulu bundle will offer incredible value at just $12.99

Disney has announced that its upcoming Disney+ streaming service will be available for $7.99 per month when it launches on November 12. While that price is quite reasonable considering the highly-valuable catalog of Disney, Pixel, Marvel, and Star Wars movies and shows which will be included, Disney has also revealed that it will be offering a bundle which will add in access to ESPN+ and Hulu for $12.99.

The bundle will have users up to $5 is they planned to sign up for all three services individually. The $12.99 sticker price for the bundle is no accident, matching the subscription price Netflix is currently charging for its streaming service. While Disney+ may not have the same scale at Netflix, the service is expected to quickly gain subscribers from families with children since it will allow them to have immediate access to Disney’s extensive family-friendly library of shows and movies. With the inclusion of ESPN+ in the bundle, Disney may actually have a leg up o Netflix since quite a few potential cord-cutters have been hesitant to do so simply because there are few options out there which include sports coverage.

It’ll be interesting to see how Disney+ fares once it launches in November. This is the first real competitor to Netflix to launch in years and probably the only other service which may actually pull people away from Netflix. Some may argue that Amazon Prime Video should be a consideration as well, but we honestly don’t think there are many who subscribe to Prime purely based on the offerings of Prime Video.
