Update: Looking for some more options in the 4K Smart TV category? Sony’s 55-inch 4K X800E model from last year is down to $798 on Amazon. That’s $100 off. You could also get the Sony X750F 65-inch 4K screen for $1,098, which is also $100 off its regular street price. Don’t go into December without a 4K TV this year!

The Sony XBR65X850F 65-inch 4K Smart TV is down to $998 on Amazon from a street price around $1,398, which is what the TV has been selling at for the last six months or so. The $998 price is the lowest we have seen for it.

You could also upgrade to the 75-inch version of Sony’s X850F series for $1,798. That’s another huge chunk off the price because this TV was selling for around $2,300 before this drop.

The Sony X850 series has always been the sort of top end TV that still ends up in an affordable price range. Last year’s 850E series went on sale during Black Friday and sold well. This year’s X850F has not quite lived up to the hype because the IPS panel and edge lighting led to poor black levels and poor HDR support as a result. If HDR isn’t a concern for you, though, the picture works wonderfully for TV shows, video games, and more. Plus, the Android TV smart platform gives you access to 4K HDR content from all your favorite streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and others. It’s designed to work with the Google Play Store, Chromecast, and Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant.

Sony’s 65-inch TV has a lot of excellent features including 4K X-Reality Pro and an X1 processor to improve non-HDR content. The beautiful display has 4K HDR Super Bit Mapping and a 120Hz native refresh rate with Motionflow XR tech. The ports include four HDMI ports, two USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0, and one composite.

The deal prices on Sony’s 2018 4K TVs are just a couple of the dozens currently available as part of Amazon’s “Seven Days of Black Friday” promo. Check out all the rest of the deals and don’t miss out!
