Android P Beta is rolling out now for Pixel family and seven other devices

We already knew Android Developer Preview DP2 was just around the corner, but now it’s finally here! You can enroll in the new public Android Beta starting now. With Android Beta you don’t have to manually install anything.

The latest version of Android P is already starting to roll out for those who have signed up with a compatible handset. As usual Android Beta supports the entire Pixel family, but for the first time ever Google is letting more manufacturers in on the action. The following third-party handsets will support Android Beta: Sony Xperia XZ2, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, Nokia 7 Plus, Oppo R15 Pro, Vivo X21, OnePlus 6, and Essential PH‑1.

While the files needed to sideload aren’t available just yet, we will be sure to let you know as soon as they are. Keep in mind Android P DP2 is still an early build. In other words, we don’t recommend using it on your daily driver.

Have you signed up yet? Let us know in the comments when the OTA starts rolling out to your device.
